Individual Therapy
I provide individual therapy to men and women over 18 years of age. In the beginning of therapy we will identify your specific issues, challenges and goals. This will help create a roadmap for your sessions and will ensure that your treatment aligns with your needs. Together we will discuss various emotional, psychological or behavioral issues you may be experiencing.
I promise to provide a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and concerns while developing coping strategies and achieving personal growth.

It is a collaborate process based on trust and empathy. I will listen attentively to your concerns and provide support, guidance and feedback as needed.

Therapy sessions involve talking and reflecting on your thoughts, emotions and experiences. I will ask questions and encourage you to explore your feelings and thought patterns. This self- exploration will help you gain insight into your issues and how they affect your life.

Depending on your needs, we will work together to explore various coping skills, and other evidence-based techniques such as EMDR and EFT. We will also explore mindfulness strategies to manage stress, anxiety or other mental health concerns. These tools are designed to empower you to deal with challenges and enhance your sense of overall well-being.
Couples Therapy
I provide couples therapy to address various issues that may cause distress or strain in a couple’s relationship.

I promise to provide you and your partner a safe and confidential environment. This space is designed to encourage open and honest communication.

At the beginning of therapy, you and your partner will work with me to define your goals and what you hope to achieve through counseling. This could include improving communication, resolving conflicts, rebuilding trust, or strengthening emotional intimacy.

This is a collaborative process where I will ask questions to better understand your relationship dynamics, history, and the issues you're facing. I will be exploring how you and your partner interact and communicate with each other.

One of the key aspects of couple’s therapy is enhancing communication skills. You'll learn how to express your thoughts and feelings effectively, as well as how to listen and understand your partner's perspective.

I will help you and your partner identify and address specific conflicts or patterns of behavior that may be causing issues in your relationship. You'll work together to find healthier ways to resolve disputes.

Couples therapy can provide emotional support during challenging times. I will help you both manage stress, anxiety, and other emotions that may arise during the therapy process.

Throughout therapy, you'll learn practical tools and techniques to improve your relationship. These might include exercises, homework assignments, or strategies for better managing conflict.

If trust has been damaged in your relationship, couples therapy can help you rebuild it. Trust is a crucial foundation for any healthy relationship.

I will also work on strengthening emotional and physical intimacy in your relationship. This can lead to a deeper connection between you and your partner.

The ultimate goal of couple’s therapy is to equip you and your partner with the skills and insights needed to maintain a healthy and fulfilling relationship in the long term.

The number of sessions and the frequency of therapy will vary depending on your unique situation and goals. Some couples find that a few sessions are sufficient to address their issues, while others may benefit from ongoing therapy.

It's important to remember that couples therapy is a collaborative process. Success depends on both partners' willingness to engage actively in the therapy and make changes in their behavior and communication. I will act as a guide and facilitator in this process, helping you and your partner work together to improve your relationship.
Family Therapy
I provide Family Therapy, also known as family counseling or family systems therapy. This is a type of psychological counseling that focuses on improving the relationships and communication within a family unit. It's based on the idea that issues within a family are often best understood and resolved by looking at the family as a whole, rather than focusing solely on individual members.
Understanding the Family System: In family therapy, the family is seen as a system or a unit. This means that the problems or issues one person is experiencing are often connected to and influenced by the dynamics and interactions of the entire family. As your therapist I will work with the family to understand these patterns.

Open Communication: Family therapy aims to create a safe and open environment where family members can express their thoughts and feelings honestly. The therapist helps everyone in the family communicate more effectively, which can lead to better understanding and problem-solving.

Identifying Patterns and Dynamics: I will helps your family identify recurring patterns of behavior and communication that may be contributing to problems. These patterns could involve conflict, miscommunication, or avoidance, among others.

Setting Goals: Together with the family, we will create specific goals for therapy. These goals might include improving communication, resolving conflicts, addressing specific issues like addiction or mental health problems, or enhancing overall family functioning.

Techniques and Interventions: I will use various therapeutic techniques and interventions to help the family work through their issues. These techniques might include role-playing, problem-solving exercises, and teaching coping skills.

Change and Growth: Through therapy, family members can learn new ways to interact and respond to one another. This can lead to positive changes in the family dynamics and relationships. It's important to note that change may not happen overnight, and therapy might require several sessions.

Support and Empowerment: Family therapy is a collaborative process where the therapist supports and empowers the family to find their own solutions and make positive changes. The therapist doesn't typically take sides but instead helps the family work together.

Resolving Conflicts: Conflict is a natural part of any family, but family therapy helps families learn constructive ways to manage and resolve conflicts. It teaches skills like active listening and compromise.
Maintaining Progress: Family therapy doesn't just focus on immediate issues but also on helping the family develop strategies to maintain the progress they make in therapy once the sessions end.

Confidentiality: What is discussed in family therapy sessions is typically kept confidential, I will not share the family's private information with others, unless there's a safety concern.

Remember that family therapy is a collaborative process, and all family members are encouraged to participate actively. It can be a very effective way to address a wide range of family issues, from communication problems to more complex challenges like addiction, mental health issues, or major life transitions. The goal is to strengthen the family unit and improve the overall well-being of its members.
