  • Where are you located?
My practice is mostly Virtual HIPPA Compliant Telehealth. I do offer some in person sessions in Long Island City, New York.
  • How long is a Session?
50 minutes Initial intake may be a little longer.
  • How can I prepare for my session?
Find a comfortable space away from noise and distractions. Please keep your phone off and have tissues and water available. I would like you to have as much uninterrupted time as possible.
  • Do you take Insurance?
I do not accept insurance currently. Most of my clients choose not to involve their insurance providers in their treatment. Here are some of the advantages: You won’t have a diagnosis label permanently attached to your health record. Your records are protected, which means all information about you including very personal information, cannot be obtained by the insurance company. Your care is not dictated by the insurance company but by the collaborative effort of my professional expertise and your personal preferences and goals. I am happy to provide you with documentation for out-of-network sessions and I can provide you with a super bill.
  • Do you prescribe medication?
No, I do not prescribe medication. If after working together for some time, we decide that medication is appropriate. I can refer you to a psychiatrist.
  • How do I know it’s a good fit?
We can have a preliminary consultation, but it usually takes two to three sessions to determine if it is a good match.
  • What if I need to cancel?
I ask that you cancel 24 hours in advance, or you will be responsible for the full cost of the session.
  • How can I get in touch with you?
Please fill out the contact form and I will do my best to reach out to you within 24-48 hours.
